Like a lot of people looking for a proper leather jacket, we ran into the same wall everyone does: on one side, luxury houses charging four figures for a jacket you’re almost afraid to wear. On the other, mass-market “leather” that starts peeling before the first winter is over. Nothing in between felt honest.
So we asked a simple question — why does a jacket that will last you a decade have to cost like it’s disposable, or cost like it’s a status symbol? The answer, once we looked closely, was that most of the price had nothing to do with the leather at all. It was layers of distributors, retail markups, and marketing spend stacked on top of the actual product.
We built ZOQ Leather to cut through that. We work directly with our craftsmen, use genuine, full-grain hides sourced for durability and character, and sell straight to you — no middlemen inflating the price along the way.
Every ZOQ piece — from our cowhide jackets with sheepskin lining, built for real winters, to our wallets, belts, and bags — is made by hand, checked by hand, and shipped with the same care we’d want if we were the ones ordering it.
